About Paulo
Experience that shows up in every lesson
Paulo Santiago is a multi-instrumentalist, session musician, producer, and music educator with experience performing and recording across jazz, pop, contemporary music, and film and media projects.
Throughout his career, Paulo has worked with world-class musicians including Wayne Bergeron, one of the most respected trumpet players in the recording industry, whose playing can be heard on more than 500 film and television soundtracks, and John Daversa, a multiple Grammy Award-winning trumpeter, composer, arranger, and bandleader. Paulo has also had the opportunity to perform with the legendary Earth, Wind & Fire.
His professional experience spans a wide range of musical settings, including work with artists such as Elevation Rhythm and Phil Wickham, giving him experience in both contemporary and worship music.
As a session musician and producer, Paulo brings real-world recording, performing, and production experience into his teaching. His goal is to help students go beyond simply learning an instrument and become confident, versatile, well-rounded musicians prepared to play in bands, at church, in the studio, on stage, or simply for the love of music.
